وقعت مؤسسة العون للتنمية ومؤسسة قطرات للتنمية اتفاقية شراكة لتنفيذ مشروع الوعي المجتمعي بأهمية التعليم المهني في محافظات حضرموت وعدن ومأرب، ضمن رؤية المؤسسة الإستراتيجية لتعزيز صورة التعليم الفني في اليمن.
وقع عن مؤسسة العون للتنمية المدير التنفيذي الدكتور عبداللاه بن عثمان، الجهة الممولة، ووقع عن مؤسسة قطرات للتنمية المدير التنفيذي الأستاذ أصيل جوبان، الجهة المنفذة.
ويهدف هذا المشروع إلى تغيير النظرة السائدة في المجتمع تجاه التعليم الفني والتدريب المهني، وإبراز دوره الهام في تحقيق التنمية الاقتصادية وتلبية احتياجات سوق العمل.
وأكد الدكتور عبداللاه بن عثمان حشد جميع إمكانات المؤسسة لتأسيس لبنات الاقتصاد المهني من خلال تعزيز البنى التحتية للمعاهد المهنية وتأهيل كوادره وتطوير مناهجه
وأشاد المدير التنفيذي للمؤسسة بالتسهيلات الحكومية المقدمة من وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث والتعليم الفني والتدريب المهني لتبني المؤسسة برنامجًا استراتيجيًا يمتد لخمس سنوات في مرحلته الأولى ويستهدف تطوير التعليم الفني في عموم محافظات الجمهورية

Alawn for Development Foundation and Qatarat for Development signed a partnership agreement to implement a community awareness project on the importance of vocational education in the governorates of Hadramawt, Aden and Marib, as part of the Foundation’s strategic vision to enhance the image of technical education in Yemen.
The agreement was signed by Dr. Abdullah bin Othman, Executive Director of Alawn for Development, the funding agency, and Mr. Aseel Joban, Executive Director of Qatarat for Development, the implementing agency.
This project aims to change the prevailing perception in society towards technical education and vocational training, highlighting its important role in achieving economic development and meeting the needs of the labor market.
Dr. Abdullah bin Othman confirmed the mobilization of all the Foundation’s capabilities to establish the building blocks of the vocational economy by strengthening the infrastructure of vocational institutes, qualifying its cadres and developing its curricula
The Executive Director of the Foundation praised the government facilities provided by the Ministry of Higher Education, Research, Technical Education and Vocational Training for the Foundation’s adoption of a five-year strategic program in its first phase that targets the development of technical education in all governorates of the Republic.
